Vincent J. Grogan

Vincent J. Grogan is a partner in the firm's Pittsburgh office.  With over 50 years of experience as a trial attorney, he concentrates his practice in commercial litigation matters, real estate law, and professional liability defense.  Over his career, he has successfully represented clients in a wide range of matters and has served as general counsel for the Realtors Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh® since 1975.  

Vincent J. Mr. Grogan is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, and was awarded its Joseph F. Weis, Jr. Distinguished Service Award in 2007.  He is a member and former chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association Lawyers Fund and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Task Force on the Code of Judicial Conduct.

Mr. Grogan served as president of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Allegheny County Bar Association in 1997 and 1989, respectively.  In June 2015, he received the Philip Werner Amram Award at the annual Allegheny County Bench-Bar Conference for his professional excellence and commitment to the betterment of the greater community.

He has also been recognized as one of a distinguished group of attorneys who have been listed in Best Lawyers in America® annually since 1983 for Legal Malpractice Law, Real Estate Law and Litigation, and Land Use and Zoning Law and Litigation.  He was also selected the Best Lawyers 2013 Pittsburgh Real Estate Litigation "Lawyer of the Year."  Mr. Grogan has been rated AV® Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell for over 30 years.

Mr. Grogan is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.  He received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1960.
